The 17th Macao International Trade and Investment Fair (MIF) app for iPhone and iPad

Macao’s largest annual international trade and economic event, the 17th Macao International Trade and Investment Fair (MIF), will be held at the Venetian-Macao-Resort-Hotel from 18 to 21 October 2012.

Macao International Trade and Investment Fair is the first exhibition event in Macao accredited by the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI), Last year, 350 trade and economic delegations from more than 60 countries and regions participated in MIF, resulting in 1,502 business matching sessions. Serving as a regional co-operation platform maintaining close ties with the Mainland, the Pan-Pearl River Delta Region in particular, Portuguese-speaking countries, the European Union and the rest of the world, MIF promotes interactive trade and investment activities, fosters the integration of funds, resources, markets and technologies and taking further steps to advance entrepreneurial co-operation in numerous areas, through the display of trade and investment opportunities, forums and conferences, business matching and buyers meetings.

This year, MIF will have the theme of: “Co-operation – Key to Business Opportunities”. Taking advantage of Macao’s unique multicultural characteristics and its role as a regional business service platform, MIF will further promote trade and economic collaboration for enterprises in Macao and the mainland and their counterparts in Portuguese-speaking countries, with the aim of expanding Macao’s role as a platform for trade and economic co-operation and exchange between China and Portuguese–speaking countries.
